Miguel García Vigil obtained a Degree in Law from Universidad de Oviedo (1991) and completed his training in the U.S. with a post-graduate course at the State University of New York. He also obtained a Masters in New Technologies Law at Centro de Estudios Garrigues. His professional activity has focused on litigation (in civil and commercial matters, including criminal corporate law), commercial contracts and New Technologies (Intellectual Property Law, Computer Law and Personal Data Protection).

At present, he teaches a course in New Technologies Law as part of the Masters in Corporate Legal Counsel offered by Fundación Escuela de Negocios de Asturias (FENA) Business School.
