Jorge Álvarez González completed a Degree in Law at Universidad de Oviedo (1991) and a Masters in European Studies at the University of Reading (1992). He joined Ramón Hermosilla & Gutiérrez de la Roza in 2006, after working in a law firm that specialised in Administrative Law, a subject he has applied throughout his professional career, providing advice to companies, individuals and the Public Administration in matters such as public sector contracts, asset liability, legal expropriation, the public order, administrative concessions, licences and sector authorisations, subsidies, public assets and legal sanctions. He also offers broad procedural experience before the Contentious-Administrative Courts and Tribunals. As an Urban Planning Lawyer and usual advisor to Allotment Boards, he has actively participated in all types of planning and land management.
